Author/satirist Evan Keliher earned a Doctorate in Education and worked as a teacher and administrator in Detroit's Public Schools for thirty years. During his long career Dr. Keliher endured curses, insults, physical threats, and death threats (from students and parents alike) and yet survived the ordeal and won that coveted pension while still in one piece. He has chronicled his experiences in hopes others may profit from them and help change the public schools into the places they were meant to be.
