Haunted Saratoga County

Here is a carefully researched book of over 120 true ghost stories from what the author calls "the most haunted of American counties." Centuries of Native American warfare were followed by years of European wars, and then, additional centuries of striving by immigrants who came seeking fortunes and health from the forests, fields and springs. The county became a vacation center replete with gambling and thoroughbred horse racing. Ordinary people struggled with the vicissitudes of their lives, coping with human issues. Not all of these souls left Saratoga County immediately after death.
