My Cleveland Story

My Cleveland Story is about a lot of things...High school footbail games under those Friday night lights. Polka music and real rock and roll. Sneaking over your girlfriend's house when her parents weren't home. Having your first intimate experience in someone's basement under a black light with a Zeppelin album playing in the background. Paying a cover charge to watch the worst team in baseball while drinking warm over priced beer. Going off to college and having way too good of a time, when a liberal arts education included bonging for buffaloes, skinny dipping, and all night fraternity parties. Getting over all that Catholic stuff and sex before AIDS, but after crabs.

My Cleveland Story is for anyone who was dumped by the one person they really loved, and hoped, no matter how slim the chances, for another chance; and ten it came and they blew it. It is for anyone who lived and died with a last place baseball club, and a football team that always broke your heart.
