A Bird Is Born: The Adventures of Pelican Pete

A story in rhyme about a pelican egg which hatches into curious young Pete. When Pete's parents are frightened from the nest by people venturing too close, clever Crow flies in to raid an egg. Pete is saved just in time by his parents return. To protect his head from the hot sun, Pete receives his very own cap.
