Physics2000, Part 1

Physics2000 Part 1 is the first half of an introductory Physics Textbook. The aim of the text is to include modern physics in a comfortably paced introductory text. We do this by starting with special relativity in the first week, an then following a fairly standard approach to Newtonian mechanics and electricity and magnetism for the first 2/3 of the text. After discussing light waves, we go directly to light particles (photons) and finish the text with a discussion of the particle-wave nature of matter and Quantum Mechanics.
