Bandits, Bears, and Backaches: A Collection of Short Stories Based on Arkansas History

The eleven stories in this collection all deal with human aspects of the history of Arkansas. The settings range from a prehistoric mastodon hunt to a twentieth-century family's departure from the state in search of employment.
