For Youths and the Young at Hearts is the ministry resource for Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. facilitates positive mentoring relationships that are impactful for the Kingdom.
Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. seeks to empower parents, teachers, youth leaders, mentors and mentees with the resources to accomplish the objective of virtue-oriented, mission-minded discipleship through its hands-on, student-centered, teacher/parent-friendly book/workbooks that promote salvation and sanctification and the teaching and learning of social skills, civility, good decision-making, community spirit and volunteerism.
The modus operandi of the Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. is a four-pronged approach:
1. PERSONAL: Through its guided study resources, Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. supports personal study of Scriptures, meditation and prayers, critical thinking on day-to-day issues of life from a Christian view point, journaling spiritual insight and experience
2. FAMILY: Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. equips and empowers parents to fulfill their God-given role as their children's first teachers, mentors, and role models in spiritual things and provides a three-volume resource - books 1 to 3 of For Youth and the Young at Heart - to facilitate this parent-child spiritual-mentoring relationship
3. YOUTH MINISTRY: Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. encourages pairing up of young persons (a peer mentor with a peer mentee) or pairing up pals and buddies as accountability partners (or peer to peer mentoring), using For Youth and the Young at Heart, for the purpose of supporting each other's spiritual development.
4. CHURCH/COMMUNITY: Everybody Needs a Friend;-There is a Friend who sticks closer than a brother,-(Proverbs 18:24b). Peer Mentoring Ministry, Inc. encourages Christians in local churches to be - mentoring relationships with family, friends and acquaintances, especially those who do not yet have a relationship with the church, for the purpose of mutual growth, evangelism and edification AND provides an interactive book/workbook, study material - For Youth and the Young at Heart - as the road map to accomplish the goal
