more than we value education.
Bestselling books were written by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Is Bill Cosby Right? and Tavis Smiley, The Covenant with Black America. Blaming the government, white supremacy and media framing for the plight is no solution. Parenthood vs. Hood Parent truly "keeps it real." Paradigms and pedagogies won't do the trick.
The controversy over Dr. Cosby's Come On People, which helped catapult the book to the New York Times bestseller list, will pale in comparison to the stir that Parenthood vs. HoodParent will create.
