While every city understandably goes to great lengths to promote a wholesome image of itself to encourage tourism and business, there is often a far more interesting world that lies beyond the brochure photos of stadiums and glass skyscrapers. Only a city's residents can fully understand this reality. Ghost town is a collection of eighty-five color photographs taken by native St, Louis artist Eric Post. His book explores a unique aspect of an aging American city's physical landscape and the quiet, haunting beauty of its vacant streets at night.
