It has always amazed me how good food brings people together and it creates a positive atmosphere among friends and new acquaintances alike. How many first dates have been at a restaurant or “Come to my house for dinner”? Great food has a way of bringing out the best in people and creates a comfortable atmosphere to become acquainted or simply allows good friends to get together and spend some quality time in an exciting and comfortable way.

Having been in the food service business most of my life, I have learned to appreciate the simpler recipes, or the do-ahead ones that allow you to visit with your guests without jumping up every two minutes to stir something, or turn or attend to the stove.
