Son of Rush

This book is the sequel to "Rush," published in 2002. This book was set in Cedar Key and Gainesville, Florida, in 1941, the first year of U.S. involvement in World War II. Rush was the name of the work's antagonist and the name of his son, who was born in 1942 in Cedar Key.

"Son of Rush" captures the development of "Little Rush" and his family up to 1950. A hilarious trip of redneck crackers developing into successful entrepreneurs. The reader gains a view of the development of northwest Florida in the years 1942-1950. There are many twists and turns, fantastic growth, and heartbreaking losses. The happy times totally outweigh the bad, and Rush grows into a delightful young man with sights set on conquering the world. There will be passages when the reader will laugh out loud.
