Warrior Obsession: The First SEAL

Warrior Obsession is a fictional novel based on the true-life adventures of Jack Taylor, recognized by Navy SEALs as the first Sea-Air-Land Commando, winner of the Navy Cross for heroism. The fictional character Tom Traylor in the novel is, like Jack, a dentist, sportsman, yachtsman, pilot and adventurer. While in Austria, he falls in love with the beautiful daughter of the Baron, but fights the feelings that would keep him from pursuing his adventurous life. When World War II erupts, Tom is turned down for a Navy commission because he is colorblind, but is accepted to become a naval commando. He became dedicated to developing the role of the Maritime Commando who can operate on the sea, from the air and on the land.
