I Press

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

A life without a goal is like the Pilot in an airplane without a map and a compass. His airplane will just fly all over the sky possibly crashing in to another airplane or a tall building somewhere; headed for disaster. The apostle Paul set for himself a goal! He envisioned a successful ending point planned. He pressed forward toward his success. He pressed toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus! He pressed in a direction and he pressed to remain focused on the One who was leading Him. By setting a goal, we are making a decision to better ourselves. We are providing ourselves a map and depending on the Lord to lead us to the finish mark. Jesus is the greatest guide to salvation an eternal life. Jesus fulfills life. Do you desire to live a life of principle and purpose? Set a goal for your life. Make a clear declaration of faith, saying "This is what I am going to do for the Lord and then press forward!" Tell Jesus, “Lord, I Press”.
