The Louise Plays

A volume containing eight plays that focus on the roles and persona of women. The five "Louise" scripts center on the adventures, politics, love affairs and self-discoveries of a sharp witted, vulnerable and tough older woman. The three classical translation/adaptations of Greek theatre offer opportunities for fresh explorations of well-known women of the theatre.
