The Border Body Dumps

Femicide! That revived, archaic term is now applied to kidnappers, rapists and murderers of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of young female workers at the international factories in Juarez, Mexico, across the border from El Paso, Texas. Killers ignominiously discard their victims' bodies in isolated "body dumps."

Constantly on the hot seat of the Inspector General for controversy and notoriety in border tabloids, Ross Spencer is hounded out of the Border Patrol. Headed for bankruptcy, almost before he launched his private investigations business, an intriguing young female investigator from Spain offers him a lucrative, unwritten contract to help her stop the crimes against the Juarez factory workers, called maquiladoras. Ross eventually learns that Olga, and later hire, Rocio Davis, an Iraq War widow and Mexican native, have some serious scores to settle with machismo-driven, border men.
