Hey Dad! Let's Have a Catch

The simple, yet meaningful, father and son activity becomes the focal point of a children's book entitled, Hey Dad, Let's Have a Catch.To an only child the five minute daily catches, in between the two jobs Dad held, were precious moments and more than a physical activity. "A Catch" becomes a metaphor for communication between father and son/parent and child as the dynamics of a catch change through the years, sadly end, and are reborn as the son becomes a father himself. A catch is depicted as a process, a rite of passage and a gift to pass along.
