Trinity Island

During one hot summer, Charles Abell, college president, escapes the strictures of his position to teach writing in an arts program on Trinity Island. Little does he realize that, by the time summer ends, he will have completely reexamined his life.

Observing the students' exuberance, imagination, and passionate relationships, Charles grasps that he has long since lost the poetry in his own soul. Does he possess the courage to overthrow convention for a life of creativity? In Luke, an aspiring writer, Charles sees the reflection of himself as a young man, and, in the aging and resident playwright, Maestro, the possibility of the man he could become.
