Clark Weber was one of the most popular disc jockeys on Chicago AM radio in the 1960s and 1970s, including stints at WLS and WCFL. The book includes stories about how he got into radio, first on several Wisconsin stations, and then, in 1961, he came to WLS in Chicago. He became program director and a star disc jockey at WLS, one of the nation's most powerful (50,000 watt) and influential rock and roll radio stations. After going to WCFL, he finished a 50 year career on radio as talk-radio host at WJJD and WIND in Chicago during the 1980s. Along with Dick Biondi, Clark was one of the best known deejays in the country, and this book includes stories about his memories and about the major singing stars of those days, including Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Monkees, Paul Revere and The Raiders, the Supremes, Simon and Garfunkel, Bobby Darin, Sonny and Cher, and many others.
