Beginning in South Africa with a help wanted ad and a chance encounter with a modern mystic, twenty-one year old Jade sets out to discover herself and her place in a world from which she feels oddly disconnected. Her physical journey takes her from Cape Town to Brazil to the Caribbean to the Chesapeake Bay, but her real journey is an internal quest for a way of being in relationship to the world.
