Food, love, sex and relationships can be as addictive as any drug. We live in a world that equates success with more. It's the perfect set up. It's easy to mistake a power and control addict for a successful person.
Many people who stop one addiction, simply move on to another. The alcoholic becomes a drug addict. The drug addict becomes a gambler. The gambler becomes a power and control addict, and his or her children eat everything in sight.
It's time for us to recognize addiction in all of its disguises and to understand it causes, conditions and solutions.
