Stranded On Polk

Stranded on Polk begins in the small town of Keeny, Oregon. Sixteen year-old Shawn O'Farrell is pregnant by the love of her life. Her conservative and uneducated parents are shocked and embarrassed by her pregnacy. Her father beats her attempting to make her abort the baby.

Shawn's daughter 'T' grows into a lovely and brillant teen but Shawn resents her and is neglectful. Shawn's boyfriend Link tries to rape 'T' while Shawn is at work. When 'T' tries to explain the situation to Shawn, she is cold and dismissive and tells 'T' that she is going to marry Link. After fourteen years of neglect and indifference from her her mother 'T' is devastated and runs away that night. She goes to San Francisco where she finds the greatest love of her life and finds herself in greater danger then she ever could have imagined. She meets street kids that take her in. They recognize her innocence and try to protect her but she eventually gets caught-up in their lifestyle including drugs and prostitution.
