The Class Menagerie: Emerson's Flight

Miss Menzies' class has created a class menagerie of toys from home. Each day at story time Miss Menzies interviews one of the toys. This is the story of Emerson who is a young Canada Goose. He and his parents travel from Northern BC to Victoria, BC Harbour so that his mother can lay another egg in the harbour where Emerson's father's flock lives. Emerson learns to fly and understand that he is still loved even though a new baby is coming. Written and Illustrated by Zoe Duff
