Color Me Human

Gabrielle has been abducted as a hostage bride by Vahn, and taken to Sartus, a planet on the other side of the sun. Sartus lies close to the sun so is protected by a heavy cloud cover which deprives the world of color. The beautiful hues from Earth are very valuable, including Gabrielle. Once there, Gabrielle discovers sub-human species, who are fighting for the classification of HUMAN. Gabrielle struggled on Earth because of her color so is sensitive to the sub-humans' plight. She finds her cause in this colorless world by joining the outlaw sects and vows to aid in their deliverance. All the while, Nuba, the evil queen, who desires Vahn's affection, schemes to destroy her.
