This literary drama mixes adventure/mystery with a trip into the Inferno, and the whales are just the beginning of a bizarre terrorist invasion of the USA. The action pits Vietnam veteran English teacher Gwynn Camsron, the American descendant of a fourteen-century Scottish warrior poet, against jihadist invaders led by his former comrade in arms and friend in Vietnam, Saladin Keayrn, a direct descendant of the great Muslim leader Salah ad Din.

THE FIRST NOVEL WITH MUSIC

While writing Tears of Allah I kept hearing music, and it was driving me crazy. Throughout history, novelists have used poems or songs or quotes from other sources to provide mood or context for an entire book, a chapter or a section. It seemed like a natural progression to actually compose and perform my own music as part of the process. The soundtrack sets the tone for this tale of a centuries-old clash of religions and cultures bubbling back to the surface of history.
