Dr. Robert Rynearson describes Profile Self Confrontation, a counseling technique he developed over many years as head of the department of psychiatry at Scott and White Hospital. The process involves patients viewing on video screen the right and left profiles of their own faces and being led by a counselor into profound self-examination based on the play of emotions patients see on in each profile.
