Incredible Journey details Josephine Qualls lifelong struggles with racism, rocky marriages, and alcohol abuse. The setting takes place in Punta Gorda, Florida where her family moved in the early 60's from Deland FL.
Her book is based on a firsthand account of an African - American girl making a family in Southwest Florida long ago.
