Bringing Ararat is an award-winning, interwoven collection of short stories that spans the westward progress of Armenian migrants in the 20th century, from Mount Ararat, west through the Communist Block, to Bucharest, Beirut, and finally the USA. While each has elements that are distinctly Armenian, at their heart, these stories illuminate the deeply personal experiences of familiarity and alienation, fear and compassion, and loyalty and betrayal.
