Counterfeit Killing: An Aaron Guerevich/Ann Berendt detective novel

Stanfield Margason's estranged wife shoots him, claiming abuse, in hopes of gaining the five hundred million dollar estate. But Scottsdale Detective Aaron Guerevich finds the killing suspicious and follows a trail to Las Vegas, where he discovers Margason has been involved with counterfeiters using printing plates and paper the CIA gave to the Shah of Iran. In a strange international twist, the plates end up in Colombia and the counterfeit money ends up in Manuel Noriega's Panama.
