A Tall Hors D'Oeuvre

A TALL HORS D'OEUVRE is a tale about Witleast, a well-meaning but dimwitted bird who simply wants a bag of gummi worms from his park's new vending machine. Now, if something is a tall order, it's very hard to accomplish, which is the case for Witleast and his wish. Knowing this and knowing that one good turnip deserves another, Witleast calls upon his pal Thoorl, a grandfatherly squirrel he helped in a previous adventure. Coins are what they need, but finding enough is going to take some time, and in the process, there'll be many ups and downs. Encounters with numerous small and not so small park residents, from a ladybug to a seagull, will reveal a surprising abundance of willing helpers. But getting their paws and wings on the coins they need so that Witleast can satisfy his kooky candy craving will be a tall hors d'oeuvre indeed.
