Developmentally Appropriate Parenting

This book outlines a plan for adapting the best practices of the early childhood profession for use at home. It talks about ways of thinking about childhood and about child development that inspire teachers at top-quality childcare centers and preschools. And it considers the ways in which teachers and parents can work better together to nurture children's learning and development.
