A Patriotic Devotional

Relive the passion and spiritual fervor our founding fathers and mothers felt as they penned some of the most inspiring words of the 18th century. Divided into three sections to represent God, Home and Country - the motto of the DAR, A Patriotic Devotional contains poems, songs, letters and prayers. The reader is introduced to "The Prayer for His Country" by our nation's first president, George Washington. Other patriots include James Madison, John Jay, Thomas Paine, William Pitt, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, John Adams, and Anne Bradstreet. Prayers from native Americans are included also.
