Timber Toys: Fun and Folly Building Log Cabins

Timber Toys recounts the story of a suburban couple who venture into unknown territory by reclaiming logs long hidden beneath the siding of two old cabins. The result is a modern beautiful log residence as well as a legacy. Authors Falk and Bator complemented the cabin by relocating a vintage barn replete with hand-hewn timbers from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin. Timber Toys is a story not only of construction but, more importantly, of the restoration of two souls, once deprived of their creative essence by the rigors of suburban and corporate life.
