Devil At The Door

This book is a true story about two families with a total population of just thirteen people. Of these thirteen, seven have had cancer - two of the members have had this disease twice - unbelievable! It is a story that the author lived through and that she has carried and been involved with for most of her adult life.

How could so many of these family members - all from the same little town - have met the same fate? The story hits the highs and lows with either the death or the victory (however small or short lived) of each of the seven cancer victims. The reader will become immersed in the care, the ups and downs of each of the seven and find, as they read, the tragedy that cancer can bring to the most innocent of people and the hope the survivors can bring.
