Autobiographical account of Doyle T. Hodges's years spent in the CCC, the Army, the Air Force, and the Navy, incluing a year-long tenure in Antarctica. He managed to survive several South Pacific island invasions, a number of hardship discharges, and reenlistments. He married and remarried, often with disasterous results.
