John Hallan is an average young college graduate living on a distant planet where everyone has superpowers. In the rush of life in the big city, John looks for a purpose for his existence - but it's not easy when he isn't drawn in by the latest mePhone or passionate about making a name for himself. In fact, John doesn't seem to have any concrete ambitions aside from grabbing a beer at his favorite bar. His normal, boring life is a mystery to his exciting, popular, immortal coworker and buddy, Borneo, who is living his endless days as if each one is his last, shaking his head in awe at John as he urges him to get out of his stupor. (Un)luckily for John, bizarre situations find him on their own at every turn.
