Julia, Coming Home

When her mother’s obituary names Julia as the ‘sole survivor’ of the family, she is shaken. She’s successful by the world’s standards, yes, but also thirty-nine, single, and lonely.

Desperate for a new beginning, Julia quits her executive job in Portland, adopts two miniature schnauzers, and moves to what seems to be an idyllic small town in the Oregon Cascades. There she hopes to open a bookstore—and maybe even find love.

Julia establishes friendships with a cast of charming and quirky characters. However, in creating relationships, secrets surface from her past. And her very life is threatened when she unknowingly disturbs a serial killer burying his latest victim and becomes a target herself.

Julia struggles with her faith the midst of events more terrifying and wonderful than she could ever imagine.
