Plenty, three friends soon learn, trapped in the company town of Boot Hill. If they could somehow get a train loaded with boots over the mountains, they could be rich - richer than they ever dreamed.

But in an alternate 1973, Global Warming has brought the world to a standstill, and use of all carbon fuels is tightly restricted.

And the Government controls all means of transportation, and the hearts and minds of everyone in America...
