Courage to Thrive

The Courage to Thrive Anthology is the publication of winning entries in the 1st Annual WUFC (Writers Unite to Fight Cancer) 2012 Writing Contest. Writers Unite to Fight Cancer partnered with the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center Community Outreach Program in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Virginia G. Piper Creative Writing Center in Tempe, Arizona to raise community awareness about cancer and the need for research to find a cure. The collection of works includes a variety of essays, inspirational non-fiction, speeches, poetry, children's stories, memoir entries, science fiction, and historical fiction.
