The Book of Existence: Part One

We get so used to the mundane routine of life, we forget about the higher, the bliss. Life becomes about making money, etc. We forget all about the luxury of love and freedom and coming to the heart. We just want to be successful and pass through this life. The higher—the ecstasy—has become a forgotten language. It is like a tree. A tree can live without flowers, but the flowers are the sign of the richness of the tree. The flowers of life are love and softness. You can live without love, but you are not really living. You may live a very luxurious life, but if there is no love, the real luxury is not there. You are living at the survival level.
