Set in and around the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco during the 1960s, INVISIBILIS— a novella and three accompanying short stories—introduces readers to Mooney Grimes, occultist and psychic detective extraordinaire, and his, sometimes, unwitting partner, Doc Cutty, a Vietnam vet and freelance journalist trying to find his place back in the world.

Mooney Grimes, the gifted psychic, vegan, celibate, a detective-consultant well versed in the occult arts and a practitioner of astrology and tarot ever mindful of the karmic balance of victims and criminals, and Doc, his war weary associate who seeks transformation through healing of a different sort, combine to form an entertaining, dynamic and sometimes dysfunctional team for solving diverse, often, other worldly cases involving: kidnapping and murder; making contact with an apparition to solve a decade old cold case; melting out justice to a seductress whose infidelity results in her lover's murder; and a prescient preview of a charismatic man (soon to be known the world over for the hideous crimes he will one day orchestrate), during his brief stay in San Francisco.
