Openings

Lester Libo, who is an art dealer in Albuquerque, NM, draws upon his experience with the art world in Openings, his first novel. The protagonist Damian Lucero is a U.S. Marine and a veteran of Iraq with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is also a gifted artist who becomes the target of identity theft. The plot involves the contemporary art world, the therapy for PTSD, political and legal intrigue, and Damian's relationship with his girlfriend, Angela Fernandez. The action takes place in Albuquerque and Dallas.
