The Unschooled Adventures of Amanda and Aidan: The Penpal

Aidan and Amanda are 8-year-old twins who are homeschooled, using the "unschooling" method. It's a typical Tuesday, and by the early afternoon, the twins have already baked cookies, played with their guinea pigs, created a backyard fort which included making train tracks for their Lego people, and helped their mom measure for two new gardens. When the mail truck arrives, it delivers a letter addressed to Aidan and Amanda, from someone in Canada, who wants to be their penpal. Aidan and Amanda are excited to have a penpal from another country, and want to learn all about his hometown.

The Penpal is the second book in this series.
