Anastasia

Peter, a fifteen year-old boy, finds his life in turmoil from his parents separation and tries to go through his days carefree while dealing with the resentment of his parents actions. His faltering world is soon further disrupted when he meets Anastasia, a young immigrant girl whose directness, innocence, and cultural differences confuse yet attract him. When her family is shattered by devastating circumstances, they connect through their shared upheaval before a series of incidents tests their bond, threatening to damage their lives and those around them. Peter eventually comes to terms and learns to grow from the experiences of love and loss during a summer that would change his life.
