Faith's Fate: Was it his Wife, Faith, or his spiritual Faith that doomed Stephen to his Fate?

A Madison Avenue-type loses his job and has a mid-life crisis resulting in a divorce and his meeting a drop-dead gorgeous female evangelist, "Faith" -whom he marries and they go off to minister. He, Stephen, runs a Christian TV station and is stifled by the religious bible-thumpers. Investing in oil well in Tulsa, they encounter all sorts of skulduggery in ministry and unrewarding ventures-all leading inexorably to a final testing of Stephen's faith and an unexpected denoument with Faith.
