We Are the 99% and We Are Running for Office: Washington's Worst Nightmare

Anger at Washington is at an all-time high. Occupy Wall Street on the left, the Tea Partiers on the right, the supporters of Get Money Out of Politics, and others from every point on the spectrum agree: our government is corrupt, our politicians are being bought by the 1% in exchange for special favors and tax breaks, and this insanity is destroying our nation and our planet.

This radical book proposes that change is possible. Not coming from the left, nor the right, nor from a new party that combines the two, but founded on a new system. A system where no politician who has used corporate or PAC funds, or larger sums of anyone's money, returns to office. A system where regular people can run for office and take back our country. Only with leaders who represent the 99% and not the 1% can we reverse the deterioration of our country and the devastation of our environment.
