Forks in the Road

Forks in the Road is the second volume of memories of a wonderful life.
In his first volume, Half Way Home From Kinderlou, James Edward Alexander shared some pleasant stories of his childhood in Valdosta, Georgia, during the period 1934-1945.
Forks in the Road begins in that interlude between childhood and adulthood, a period of simultaneous rapid growth and decline, when there is so much more to learn, while forgetting the habits of kindergarten.
His passage into manhood was accelerated. Forks in the Road follows the exciting paths of an uneducated Southern colored boy into the U.S. Air Force, and to distinguished scholarship.
