Nothing Ever Happens in New Haven: The Shoot-Outs and the "Routine Patrol" of the New Haven Police Dept.

Dan Terry is a career police officer, working in small towns and usually alone. He has discovered that small towns have the same serious crimes as the big cities, but less often. The flip side is such crimes often affect many more people. And, like "Barney Miller" or "Hill Street Blues", small towns have more than their share of silly calls. Ride along with Dan as he helps a wounded deputy behind cover after a suicidal man opened up with an assault rifle; a drunk driver with two children attempts to murder an officer, and a man is being held hostage by a bunny rabbit in the driveway refusing to leave. For small town cops, it all in a days work!
