Advanced Clinical Gua Sha Facial Rejuvenation: An Educational Course with CEUs

Gua Sha therapy along with acupuncture and moxabustion, herbal therapy, acupressure and Qi Gong therapy have been commonly practiced modalities of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) for thousands of years. This course is designed to provide practitioners with skills in TCM anti-aging treatment principles and to incorporate Gua Sha treatment therapies into their practice. Applying Gua Sha therapy in anti-aging treatment can help promote local qi and blood circulation, empower the body's natural healing power, and correct the aging signs of the body from the inside out. Topics include special facial Sha diagnosis techniques; on-spot treatment for facial Sha to promote skin healing from the inside out for stubborn wrinkles, sagging, dark/aging spots, and facial puffiness; and Ba Hua guided eye treatment to address sagging of eye, dark circles, and wrinkles. Dr. Ping Zhang is a licensed acupuncturist, a National Certified Herbalist, and has a PhD in Oriental medicine. She has more than twenty years of clinical experience specializing in facial and body rejuvenation acupuncture, acupressure, and Chinese herbal medicine. As the first recipient of a PhD in Oriental medicine in the US, Dr. Zhang is a pioneer in the field of traditional Chinese medicine anti-aging and facial and body rejuvenation. She designed and taught the first graduate level course in the US on traditional Chinese medicine facial and body rejuvenation for New York College for the Health Professions. She is the author of Anti-Aging Therapy and A Comprehensive Handbook for Traditional Chinese Medicine Facial Rejuvenation, which are published and sold internationally. She teaches and lectures on facial and body rejuvenation techniques to beauty and medical professionals and students around the world.
