Living by Faith: A Journey of Love and Encouragement

A Book of inspirational poems written throughout the author's life journey of joyful experiences, difficult challenges and divine interventions. In May 2011, author Mary E. Darby underwent a major spinal surgery due to a rare condition called basilar invagination. Subsequent complications required her to undergo two additional intricate surgeries, and she was left paralyzed. Mary's faith led her to fight beyond the goal of mere survival, to rise above any temporary obstacles and thrive again. Her strong faith and glowing spirit was present as family, friends and hospital staff entered and left her room feeling loved, inspired and encouraged daily. Due to her strong faith in God, Mary is recovering beautifully and has learned to walk again.
