Racing the Wind: Spending our Youth in Small-Town America

A story of a boy with plans someday to build bridges or design skyscrapers. He decides to pay for his education by building a racer and winning the Soapbox Derby.

Problems, orchestrated by his main adversary, creep into the racer's production. The boy has to rely on the help of a fellow classmate-a girl-to find the source of his problem and to finish the racer and the race.
